On 15-16 March 2018, the International Telecommunications Society (ITS) held its 2nd African Regional Conference in Lusaka, Zambia. Being a member of the Board of Directors of ITS, Anders Henten from CMI was chair of the programme committee of the conference and also part of the organizing committee, led by the local host of the conference, Dr. Tembo from the University of Zambia (UNZA). This was the 2nd African Regional ITS conference, and the intention is to have more conferences in African countries in the years to come with the purpose of including ICT researchers, industrialists, and policy makers and regulators from African countries into the international research and policy discussion environment that ITS constitutes. Three CMI staff members participated in the conference, Morten Falch, Kenneth Azumah and Anders Henten.
