Media personalisation technologies for Public Service Broadcasting
The two words 'public' and 'personalisation' stand often in opposition. This long-term project analyses how Public Service Broadcasting organistions approach media personalisation technologies while still serving the public. Specifically, the project analyzes algorithmic recommendation and customisation technologies, from a technical, editorial and media political perspective. The aim is to contribute to the transformation of public service broadcasting into public service media, redefining the term 'public'.
